The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a master's degree in business administration, which attracts people from a wide range of academic disciplines. The core courses in the PGDM program are designed to introduce students to the various areas of business such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, operations management, etc. Students in PGDM programs have the option of taking general business courses throughout the program or can select an area of concentration and focus approximately one-fourth of their studies in this subject.
The placement cell is dedicated in advising students on career options and providing the latest information and arranging for summer training opportunity and employment vacancies. To compete with the current competitive market environment, the placement cell provides individual counseling, runs seminars and group sessions concerning career choice, interview skills and group discussion skills, preparing resumes and drafting job applications. The placement coordinator keeps a constant liaison with the various business and industrial establishments (both private and public sector), which conduct campus interviews for final placements.
